My son took 4 AP classes this year at Langley HS and needed help with Calc BC. The class at Langley HS has over 30 students, so the teacher has very little time to answer questions in class or give extra time to students (common problem with large classes at LHS). The NOVASTAR calculus tutor is working on her PhD in teaching mathematics, so she is very well qualified and helped him greatly. However, because she is in high demand, you need to schedule the next tutoring sessions at least a week in advance. If your student needs help in a complex subject, one-on-one tutoring is the only way to go.
